Task Force

A task force is a work group created on an "as-needed" basis to work on a single task or activity with clearly defined measurable objectives for a specified short period of time. It is NOT like a permanent standing committee which is typically defined in organizational by-laws or charter (example committees: Membership, Public relations, Service, Rotary Foundation, etc...)
